Overview of SikaCim Pink

The SikaCim Pink is a liquid waterproofing agent, free from chlorides, suitable for concrete substructures. Admixtures effectively reduce the water content of cement and mortar and are formulated to meet IS 2645-1975 specifications. 

Sika's innovation of special specific polymers, dynamic surface agents, and additional substances is utilized in this pink-colored sealing compound for concrete, mortar, and plaster.

Primary and mass types of cement are both suitable for use by Sika Cim. The use of concrete with waterproof properties is essential for casting rooftop slabs, Damp Proof Course beams, Water storage tanks, Tunnels, Sewerage structures, and sewerage lines, nearly anywhere where watertight concrete is required. 

Concrete is wholly waterproofed from the inside when SikaCim Pink is used as an additive. Reinforcing concrete with fiber and powder increases the strength of the material while reducing cracks. 

This product is used for indoor floor slabs, garage floors, paths and driveways, and underground construction. By repairing mortar damage, Sika CIM waterproofing compound plastering jobs are more accessible and more economical.

In addition, the outer and inner mortars of systems can be used with this product. In the cement pore arrangement, it reacts with water and the free lime to form a solid that is non-solvent in nature, preventing water from rising.

Step by step instructions for applications of SikaCim Pink

  • For concrete, charge cement, aggregates, and sand/for mortar, charge cement and sand, and dry mix for one minute.

  • Stir for a couple of minutes with 50-70 percent of the required water.

  • Mix the SikaCim Pink with the remaining water in a mixing drum for 3 minutes to produce a homogeneous mix by adding the required quantity of SikaCim Pink.

  • Use the mix in accordance with the requirements and lay the concrete.
